3D Time History of Particle Displacements

3D Time History of Partial Displacements – visualization of records of the displacements of the point where the sensor is placed in the three directions – X, Y, Z. The maximum positive and negative peak displacements along the three axes – Peak Partial Displacements – are also shown PPD. These values are used to assess the degree of impact in cases where the norms limit the permissible PPDs (e.g. when assessing the displacement levels reached for structures, machinery and the impact of vibrations on people). The AVA Software provides fast interactive movement and scaling of graphics. The vector values of the velocities in three planes – XY, XZ and YZ – are also displayed. In the presence of GPS signals, the recordings are synchronized in time using the UCT system. There is an option in AVA that provides time synchronization between recordings made by two different devices. If desired by the user, the 3D Time History of Particle Acceleration can be saved in DXF or tabular format. These 3D accelerograms can be used to evaluate the impact of vibration on structures through FEM programs such as GEO5, SAP2000, ANSYS, etc.
